About Adhesion
An ADHESION is a type of scar that forms an abnormal connection between two parts of the body. Adhesions can cause severe clinical problems.
After conventional colorectal surgery, one out of five patients is readmitted for reasons directly or indirectly related to adhesion within 4 years after the operation.
